I’ve been hiding under headphones listening to mixes of a show I like more and more each time I get a chance to work on it. The demos will be ready to share soon, but in the meantime, Lisa Diana Shapiro has made a behind-the-scenes video of our day in the recording studio with a group of fantastic musical theater students from Pace and Northwestern. Songwriter and music director Georgia Stitt, producer Ken Davenport and casting director Cesar Rocha judge BroadwaySpotted‘s Next Big Star competition finalists, who sing live May 22 at the Davenport Theatre in New York City.

After a national online search, votes have been tallied, and the top 10 finalists have been announced. They include Maggie Bera, Sara Glancy, Sean Green Jr., Emma Hearn, Frank L. Humphrey III, Devin Lewis, Jordan McCaskill, Tyler McKenzie, Ben Walker and Hannah Zazzaro.
